A few other pics from the India visit (some of these have slightly larger versions on clicking them; others, being tiny sections of larger pics, can't be blown up).

Mother India is alive – and is as caring as ever before

On March 4, 2012, in India, by Sanjeev Sabhlok

I zoomed into one of the photos I had taken (you've seen this picture earlier here). I was reminded of Mother India.

Who is the fool who suggests that parents in India don't care for their children – (see the debate here)!

And, of course, the context:

I took hundreds of pictures from moving cars/taxis during my India visit.

I was zooming into one of the pictures just now to look more closely at what was happening in a part of that picture, and discovered a family eating their meal NEXT TO A WASTE BIN. This picture is taken on a main road in Mumbai.

Click for a much larger image.

You can zoom into the family even further (in the bigger image). They appear to live there, next to the waste dump.

I feel so ashamed I could die. Tear of sorrow will never be enough.

This is pure animal life that we have allowed our ROTTEN leaders and politicians to create for our people. Swear words are coming to mind, but let's keep cool and work together to ensure that these evil monsters are removed from India's leadership positions.

That little girl deserves BETTER. MUCH, MUCH BETTER.

Indians fight on – the pictorial story of India #1

On February 29, 2012, in India, by Sanjeev Sabhlok

India is growing in spite of all possible obstacles created by its incompetent, corrupt leaders. Despite their best efforts to stop Indians from prospering, they can't dampen the vigour that courses through the veins of India.

A more enterprising set of people than Indians has perhaps never been created. You will (almost) never find anyone not working hard for a living – unlike in the West where a good number of drunkards and drug-addicts dot the streets, being the "beneficiaries" of the misguided welfare state.

In these pictorial blog posts I'll post a few interesting examples (often snipped out from the main picture) from pictures I took while in India recently.

Five pictures for today. These are taken in and around Palam Vihar in Gurgaon.
