I was searching for some old documents and came across this letter I had sent to ECI in 1999. [Click for larger image].

Mr Pani, Dy. CEC was asking me my "nexus".

I said citizen.

That was clearly not enough.

ECI is not accountable to citizens of India.

I hope with RTI laws this has changed.
