A commentator Vippan Kumar mentioned a perspective that is worth sharing widely. (I've slightly extrapolated).
Every politician is safe, but not ONE member of the public is safe. Every politician is super-rich (in an illegal way), even as inflation and mismanagement has forced the poor into a corner from which they are now forced to fight back; being left with no choice.

I share the Indian pain and call for change but I am worried in seeing so many call for the hanging of the criminals. Capital punishment is not the right way to go, the countries that have the lowest rape rates in the world have banned capital punishment. Instead, healing and restoration by the power of God is the way India should choose to solve this problem: http://holyspiritactivism.wordpress.com/2013/01/01/india-needs-the-holy-spirit/
God bless you!
