Announcing a new book project: Hindu Capitalism

In addition to The Discovery of Freedom that I'm currently working on, I'll now start working on a book, tentatively entitled, Hindu Capitalism.

Initially, I'll assemble relevant blog posts systematically. Then I'll conduct secondary research. It could take a number of years for this project to be completed.

I am currently reading a book – “India’s New Capitalists” by Harish Damodaran. It is an excellent sociological analysis of the various castes and communities that have enjoyed remarkable entrepreneurial success in post independence India. It might help you.
