So what is he saying?

hey trolls who have been given marching orders to flood the comment threads here like an infestation of beetle larvae: Don't bother! We've seen the mindless talking points before, and coming here to parrot them simply (a) pollutes the otherwise thoughtful discussion in the comment threads here, and (b) exposes the intellectual bankruptcy of your climate change denial zealotry.

Does this sound to you like a WORLD FAMOUS "SCIENTIST" speaking?

Of course not. There is nothing to distinguish this mongrel language from that of any common, third rate lout's.

In terms of science, I respect Richard Feynman as a great thinker. According to him, "Science is the belief in the ignorance of experts".

By default, Richard Feynman, being a scientist, would acknowledge his IGNORANCE as his defining characteristic. He was ignorant, I am ignorant, we are ALL ignorant. IGNORANCE is universal.

Therefore, EVERYTHING that purports to be a description of reality must be proved.

The scientist is the one who EXPLAINS things politely, and repeatedly. He doesn't pull "rank" or boast about his credentials. IGNORANCE IS MANKIND'S ONLY CREDENTIAL.

It appears that if someone were to go to Michael Mann and ask him to explain his "hockey stick", he would presumably respond by calling the person a "troll", "intellectual bankrupt", and "zealot".

Just like John Quiggin, the so-called "honorable" member of Australia's Climate Change Taskforce whose instantaneous response when I pointed him to Donna's study was to call her a LIAR (for which he has STILL not apologised), it appears there is a tendency among these highly 'ranked' "climate believers" to ATTACK PEOPLE, not arguments.

But by playing the player, not the ball, these people are only making themselves TOTALLY IRRELEVANT to mankind's future.

To all such (and other) people I have this to say: Be a scientist.

Learn IGNORANCE.

ADMIT IGNORANCE.

Humbly explain what you know.

And let's learn about the TRUTH from each other. By asking HARD and CHALLENGING questions.

Those who really know something NEVER crack into louthood (as Mann has done) under questioning. That's the basic test of REAL scientist.
