Those who've read I Pencil know what I'm talking about. But this nice video illustrates the point I want to make, almost as well:
Let there be liberty to cooperate THROUGH FREEDOM (which is also known as capitalism).
Capitalism is the MOST effective way to cooperate, in which we pay only (and precisely) for what we need, and neither is NOTHING wasted (or nothing would be wasted, if total freedom were to prevail), nor are there gults. There is perfect cooperation, or almost as perfect as we can get.
This video by Friedman is brilliant, and explains the story a bit more. This is all very good preparation for those who want to read Hayek's The use of knowledge in society.
