Shashi Shekhar, for whom at one time I had considerable regard, has now reached a point where he writes: "Over the years I have questioned Sanjiv’s judgment" [source].

This is a blatant lie. Shashi and I have exchanged emails for over 14 years now, and NOT ONCE has he written anything to suggest any difference of opinion with the need for liberty in India.

How that he has come out of his shell and disclosed his Sangh background, and has started publicly hero worshipping Modi, he is inevitably forced to undermine the ONLY real alternative that India has: believers in liberty and ethics like me who will bring about economic and political freedom to India: integrity and prosperity.

I talk about a moral transformation of India but Shashi thinks I talk cheap politics.

Shashi, I've lost respect for you now, regardless of you alleged "respect" for my allegedly "dogged" persistence.

Shashi, you forget that YOU have displayed seriously bad judgement. You respect a man who bans books. You respect a man who is part of a criminal gang (BJP), who runs a government that has been surveyed by Transparency International and found to be deeply corrupt at the grassroots, and against which credible allegations of corruption exist at the highest level. You respect a man who is TOTALLY incompetent as an administrator and could not prevent the killing of thousands of innocents (from both sides of the religious spectrum), and has managed to either lose or destroy crucial evidence of those crimes.

Shashi, you are questioning the judgement of a man who speaks the truth as it should be spoken and who demands liberty and good governance in India – and has been organising to offer his services to ensure these for India.

Shashi, you have not read my book nor even care to know the spelling of my name.

Shashi, your petty arrogance completely undermines what I have thought about you in the past – a broad supporter of liberty.

I now question your judgement and will treat you as part of the MORTAL ENEMIES of India. Instead of recognising truth, liberty and integrity, you have become a bootlikcer of corruption, incompetence and illiberalism.

And you claim to preach to me!

Surely you must know in your heart that by undermining me and my ideas you are undermining India's future.

When your heart will start speaking to you once again, and you finally overcome your BLIND adolescent hero-worship for one MAN (not even an idea!), then you and I can talk again.

I understand that some adults can go through this phase of adolescent hero-worship, but I'm sure one day, given your educational background and intellectual capacity, you'll be able to rise above individuals and consider IDEAS. When you do so, you'll surely realise that I speak the truth for India's welfare.

Then, when you once again respect my judgement and my work, we can talk as friends once again.

Let us ensure that India gets the BEST it can. India deserves FAR better than that incompetent Modi.
